I had a 9-year-old special needs son who passed away in 2013. Since then I have worked with one of his classmates one day a week. I have learned how to be more patient. I'm a former day care teacher so I have had experience in teaching at different levels of learning. Before my own son passed I was working with him on basic skills like vocabulary, numbers, colors, letters, and simple life skills. Because I have had a special needs child I have a passion for special need kids. I'm PCA qualified.
