I have over 5 years experience caring for people who are elderly, with disabilities, mental illness etc. I was a personal care assistant, than I became a certified nursing assistant and trained medication administer. My certification as a cna expired once I started working for what I went to school for, health information management. But the skills have not gone away, I stayed working in the health field. While I was a pca, I passed meds, did proper documentation, cooked, cleaned, took my clients to doctors appointments, outings, and helped and assisted with activities of daily living and hygiene.
