I am a 53 year old female who moved to MN from OR June 1st, 2021. I had been a caregiver with ComfortKeepers in AZ for 1 1/2 years and then with Home Instead in OR for 4 months before moving into the office to do scheduling.. I enjoy being a caregiver and feel good about helping people to stay independent in their own home. I love to cook, play games, do errands, watch old movies and listen to classic music. I enjoy being able to engage in conversation and listen to stories of people’s lives. I truly miss being a caregiver and believe that everyone should get the help they need without going broke getting it.
I do have my own physical limits such as climbing stairs, I myself have MS, which manifests itself in spasticity (chronic stiffness) in my right leg, This does not hinder my ability to help others except where stairs are concerned.
