I find so much truth in this quote (Betty Friedan) in the relationships I have developed with my grandparents, patients I have worked with, and the many "adopted" parents and grandparents I am blessed to have in my life. As I think about the way I would like to age into my later years - with laughter, sincerity, independence, and grace - I hope to help other older adults be able to do the same. Karma always comes around!
Having recently relocated to Florida, I was unsure that if I should re-activate this portion of my profile. At this time my current full-time job would be most symbiotic with a companion care role that is live-in for overnight needs and morning/evening care, plus errands, medication assistance, meal preparation, and companionship.
