I have 15 years of experience helping to care for elderly people and “I love it”.
I enjoy listening to people tell their stories and talk about memories of their past. I feel that a touch on a shoulder is very important so that my client can feel comfortable and connected to me. A hug is even more important when the client is feeling comfortable with me. Giving good care to assist them with their personal needs is always a must. Making good eye contact with the client is always very important to me so that the client knows that I’m really listening to them because what they have to say is important to me. I would also be more than happy to help care for a pet if they have one.
