Hi! My name is Skylar, and I have nearly 2 years of caregiving experience. I have worked in both nursing homes and independent living communities, as well as providing one on one care in clients homes. Throughout my experience I’ve cared for adults ranging from their 40s to 90s with a variety of needs, including Alzheimer’s and dementia, disabilities, mobility limitations, mental health challenges, and those who simply need extra support with daily living.

I am experienced with personal care tasks such as bathing, showers, peri care, toileting assistance, brief changes, grooming, oral care, feeding assistance, medication reminders, transfers, room checks, laundry, housekeeping, and companionship. I also have experience using mechanical lifts and Hoyer lifts for individuals with more complex mobility needs.

In addition to professional caregiving, I regularly assist my grandparents with daily tasks and household responsibilities. I am compassionate, patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy helping others. I take pride in treating every individual with kindness, dignity, and respect while providing the support they need to remain comfortable, safe, and cared for.
