I have always been drawn to people. I enjoy talking to them; helping them in stores or across the parking lot. I like to play games and work jigsaw puzzles. I have taken care of my 35 year old niece since she was a baby. She has development delays and functions very well except for number skills and safety. She is at a 9 year old level with those.
I took care of several of my aunts when they were elderly. I took care of my mom till she died at 92. She was in memory care and when I went we would visit with all the other people. I take care of my grandchildren now.
I worked for Papa Pals for several years. I applied to go back there also and they are saturated with caregivers where I live. I did some training and worked for Griswold home care for about a year but they needed me for specific hours so I had to leave.

My mother has watched our little baby Diego a few times and she is absolutely amazing I swear he comes back smarter every time from the stories she tells and how social she is with him I have also seen she is a wonderful involved grandmother to her niece and nephew & and well as her niece with developmental disability she has experience working as a companion for young kids and elderly friends who she shows her kindness to and takes to do all kinds of errands they all are lined up waiting till the next time she can hang out with them. ?
