I have worked with advanced memory care clients. I worked as an activities assistant at a residential care facility in Dallas, Texas. I enjoyed finding new ways of guiding residents to remember events from their past. I learned so much about the lives they once lived. Watching their faces light up when they were telling me about their lives and families truly was inspirational. I also understand that clients can have some really bad days. On those days they may need someone that can slow things down and possibly redirect them when needed.
