Care giving is a job I have had most of my adult life. Whether I have been taking care of my 4 children as a stay-at-home mom or working closely with my mother's doctors and nurses to be sure she was healthy and happy in her final years, I have been truly fulfilled in knowing that I have had a positive affect on the people I love the most. How can anyone not love nurturing and caring for others, supporting them on their life journey? I have guided teenagers through the consequences of their actions and assisted my elderly mother to and through her doctor appointments, as well as her physical rehab after surgery. I have been a driving instructor, party and event planner, spokesperson and advocate for my elderly and handicapped mother, cook, story-teller, and confidant. In short, my life has been blessed by taking care of the people in my life who needed me the most.
