My name is Ava Altman, I am 26 years old and a college graduate. I recently moved to New York after living in many cities working in film production and am currently living with relatives going through a transitional period as I explore my next steps. I am currently interested in pursuing graduate work in psychology or perhaps social work. Therefore, I am looking for a position that compliments my interests, skills, and experience, as well as will allow me the flexibility to work towards applications and research outside of work. Most of my experience has been as a nanny or working with animals. However, I'd love the opportunity to work as an aide. My grandfather is the most important person in my life, and the older I get the more I appreciate spending time around senior citizens. I’m interested in people and helping people. I love to play games (my favorites are cards and chess,) drink coffee or tea, and talk. I'd be happy to help dispense medication, prepare meals, assist you in your daily needs and foremost, hopefully, become a reliable companion from which we can learn from one another. I understand I don't have a lot of experience in this department but I am very smart, capable, compassionate, and a great listener. I am willing and eager to learn.
