Hello! My name is Ozlem. I am originally from Turkey, but I have been living in the U.S. since 2019. I moved to the U.S. to be with my husband. He is an educator with the St. Louis Public Schools. I studied classical violin and dance at the University of Mersin in Turkey. Prior to moving to the U.S., I worked in the Turkish film industry as an art assistant. I was responsible for props, set design, etc. I had a lot of down time between jobs, so I started caring for children in my neighborhood during the slow periods. I cared for children between the ages of 3 and 14. These children became like family to me. I have also been providing care for my mother-in-law since I arrived in the U.S. I clean her home, accompany her to appointments, and encourage her to maintain an active lifestyle.
