I became a Care Giver because throughout my life, I have always cared for my Grandmother and Mother whom are older ladies. I cared for my Grandmother when she was home on Hospice Care and I have grown to love it since that time. I enjoy working with people and most of all, I enjoy jobs where I can have one-on-one interaction with others. I like older adults and feel that I can get along well with a variety of elders. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I don't ever say, "that's not my job" but instead, I like pitching in to do whatever is needed. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day better.
