I am a wife & mother of 3 grown children. I kept children in my home for 16 years aged 6 wks to 12 yrs old. Now that my children are older I decided to go back to nursing school so that I could continue taking care of people. I recently completed 3 semesters of nursing and clinical practice. I have experience working in orthopedics, cardiac care and worked on a "float" floor attending to clients with a wide variety of health problems. During these clinical semesters I cared for pre-op and post-op patients.

Some of the skills I performed during clinical practice included taking vital signs, administering medications, helping clients to complete their activities of daily living, monitoring blood glucose levels, start and discontinue IV's, providing oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation, performed proper skin integrity procedures, including sterile and non-sterile wound care, inserting and discontinuing urinary catheters, as well as countless other procedures.

I am certified in CPR and have an official background check certificate.

I am available daytime hours Monday through Friday. I have dependable transportation. I do not require benefits that most employees seek. My husband provides our family with coverage through his job. I can run errands, shop, do light housework and cooking, make appointments, provide companionship and many other services.
