I have almost 10 years in caregiving experience. I really enjoy this type of work. I used to be in retail management for several years but I so much prefer caregiving. It's fulfilling and at the end of the day you feel you've made a difference in someone's life.
I am the type of person who loves to see others succeed and/ or just being happy. I am a good hearted person who loves people. I also have been known to go above and beyond in many types of work, especially caregiving. I am in no way shape or form the type of person who does the bare minimum. I do what is expected plus more. That's who I am.
I really enjoy caring for the elderly. They have a special place in my heart. Many of them have fascinating stories to tell. I cared for one woman in particular who was the first woman stationed in Vietnam and the Pentagon. She was a leutenant colonel in Air Force.
A little more about me......I am a happily married to my sweetheart. I am a mother of two sons, one 24 years old and the other an 23 months old.
