I am a mom of 3 grown girls, a registered pediatric nurse. My mom lived with me for over 10 years, she recently passed this last September. While my mom loved with me, I became aware of the need the elderly have just to spend time with someone. She was in an assisted living her last few years and it made me so sad to see how many of the resident did not have family members to spend time with them. As I approach my "empty nest" years, I would love to spend time with those that really need it.
