I worked in caregiving during college and different times throughout my life. I became very busy with my clinical social work licensure, worked in many agencies and then opened a private practice in Florida. Since then I moved to Asheville and worked in an elementary school as the social worker as well as in mental health in outpatient and inpatient settings. I’m at a fork in the road, considering changing careers. I then remembered my enjoyment of caregiving. More specifically, I like working with kids & figured I may as well look into this and see if I come full circle and end up where I started: caregiving for kids.
