Melanie’s Bio

1yr 9mo experience with an elderly man (90 to 92yrs) that started out as a companion and meals then his need grew to helping him dress, bathing, assist with bathroom, dementia. I started out volunteering to take him to church and visiting with him for a while because he did not like to be alone. I really enjoy helping to take care of our elderly. It is rewarding to me to be able to give back a little to those who now need the help.
I also cared for a 94 yr old woman with dementia for five months. Responsibilities included meal prep, some house cleaning, assist with bathroom and bathing daily.
I have done CNA training and preparing to take the state exam.
