Karen’s Bio
I went as a teenager to Hillcrest Convalescent Center, where my mother was an RN, and enjoyed visiting with the residents. I also volunteered at the VA hospital and helped in the transport department to take the patients to their appointments.
Later as an adult, I worked with Triangle Home Health Agency. I helped the owner while the office staff had a dying family member. They were gone for several months and I appreciated helping there and talking with many of the clients.
I took care of my mother twice when she was in her 70's after she had hip replacements. I also took care of my mother-in-law after cancer surgery and treatments.
I am CPR certified.
