Currently I am in my last year of pursuing my Associates in early education degree from Fayettevile Tech (Ftcc).
My last job ended November 2016 after working as a caregiver to an elderly couple for the past 3 years. My duties included every day living tasks(ADL) , light house cleaning and cooking. I enjoyed assisting and giving supportive, nurturing care that allowed these sweet individuals and/or families a chance to live as independently in their homes as much as possible.
I enjoyed caregiving to my elderly clients and they have many characteristics in common with babysitting , child care, or a nanny position, but after much consideration I took the leap to finish up my early education degree.
I know that being a caregiver or an early educator will not make me rich with worldly gain,but it makes my heart rich knowing I help people and their families.
I eventually would love to get a BS with the B-k license or the family studies and continue my work with people of all ages.
