Worked for the Department of Children &Families (DCF) in the state of Florida for almost 12 years where it was mandatory to take each year many courses/ certifications, background checks.
The mission of DCF = ChildNet was to protect abused, abandoned and neglected children therefore, working on this field you definitely learned how to care not only for children but people in general.
Just arrived/moved to North Carolina to be with my 3 adults children and grandkids . I’m retired in good health who is looking for a part time job and believe that I will be a good candidate to become a care companion.
