With extensive experience and excellent references, I have provided care and companionship for elders for several years. This has included working with families with special need individuals, as well as those with mental health issues, Alzheimers Disease and other forms of dementia, special diet and medication management requirements and a wide range of medical conditions. I also have a professional healthcare background and am capable under very stressful, difficult family situations.
Both First Aid and CPR are recently current. Further, rare times calling for emergency response have been handled calmly and efficiently.
I am reliable, timely, flexible, trustworthy, compassionate and understanding. Elders love and respect me. Families describe me as someone who goes above and beyond.
My skills include sound communication, organizational, decision making and negotiating. Imaginative activities, reading, writing, cooking, baking, household management, errand running, safe transportation and others are definite strengths.
