I am a single mother of 2 with wonderful family support. I have been working in home care for about 7 years. I have experience with bathing, reminders of medication, walking, he getting in and out of bed, etc. I have had experience with alzhemizers and stroke patients. I have experience with feeding tubes, colostomy bags, and cathers. I am currently in Nurse Aide 1 classes to get the certification to do what I have done for years in a facility if I need to. I like private home care cause of the one on one and the relationships I form with my patients. They become like my family.
