Hello my name is L.Cherese Smith. I am a very professional caregiver. I have 17 years of experience in caring for young children (birth-12) in a licensed facility. Teaching young children has always been my passion but as a new mother of multiples I have stepped aside from teaching and caring for a classroom full of young children to be a caregiver/tutor/companion in a smaller setting, such as 1:1 and I find it to be more rewarding. I am first aid and CPR qualified. I have multiple certificates such as medication administration, SIDS awareness, knowledgeable about paralysis, type 1 and 2 diabetes, Alzheimer’s, and high blood pressure.
I would love to find a long term permanent position. I am compassionate, committed, and a very efficient communicator. I am willing to learn to routines done in a particular manner and I pay very close attention to detail.
