I'm currently a certified recreation therapist for adults with neurobehavioral conditions and have worked with individuals with a variety of disabilities and health conditions. While most of my experience is with kids, I would like to expand my experience with older adults as there is definitely a need for that population. I have learned about a number of interventions/modalities such as cognitive retraining such as memory, and stress and pain management. have experience administering medication and transporting and would like to use what I've learned in classes and from caring for kids to be a companion for an older adult.
