Nina’s Bio

Hi there! My name is Nina McEwan. I am 34 years old and from Los Angeles. I am responsible, reliable, patient, respectful & attentive. My Mother worked as a caregiver my whole life, working sometimes 7 days a week. Half the time I spent with her was while she worked. I started assisting her in home healthcare when I was 13 years old. Became a certified medical assistant at 17 and began working as a caregiver while attending school. Because of my experience I was even able to care for my grandmother. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia in 2008. I cared of her on my own for a little over 10 years. During that time I also took care of my 4 siblings. I am the eldest. Juggling everything was a little bit of a struggle but I did it and it’s very rewarding to my heart.

I graduated from Marymount University with two degrees: Arts and Humanities, Social and Behavioral Science. I am taking some online courses to further my education in film. I have been doing theater arts for 12 years. I live life with a positive outlook and hope it’s infectious enough to bring a smile to those around me :)
