I am a caring, responsible adult. I have a lifetime of caring for family members and learning from a very young age the importance of supporting those with special needs and the elderly. I have been the soul caregiver for family members with terminal cancer, terminal COPD and emphysema, and ALS. I have also provided caregiving for friends and Friends of Friends. Those who are recovering from surgeries including ankle reconstruction and back surgeries. The last caregiving position I had was a paid position outside of family and friends, caring for a patient with Huntington's disease until the end of her life. I'm very compassionate, understanding and supportive of both the patient and the family members. I enjoy conversation, games, activities to stimulate thought and creativity, and nature. I am flexible and open for whatever needs might arise with the exception of strenuous lifting and personal care.
