Lindsay R. Care Companion in Hendersonville, NC 28791

Hi,
My name is Lindsay Ridgley. I have several years experience working for a lovely couple in Oxford England, Mac and Elizabeth Snowden. My responsibility started as preparing lunch 3 days a week because they were both in the 90’s and standing for long periods of time were getting difficult for Ms. Elizabeth. Over time Mac passed so all Ms. Elizabeth needed was a companion to come and sit with her and make tea and listen to all her stories. I also would take her shopping and out to lunch. Honestly in the end I didn’t charge because it was my pleasure to be in her company and she lived across from the primary school my son attended, so I would go there before he would get out of school or after drop off.
Even though I am not a trained nurse, the home care did teach me how to empty Macs bag and how to take him to the restroom. I can’t say I am trained professional but I have had experience.
It would be my pleasure to have the opportunity to be able to spend time with someone older and make sure they are looked after properly.
