I cared for my great Aunt in my early 20's which really sparked the care giver in me. 6 years ago I cared for my Mother in Law throughout her final years, from cooking, cleaning, bathing, laundry, meds, appointments, companionship and finances. I am currently beginning the same care with my own parents. I do a great deal of volunteer work including events for special needs adults at the Hickory Elks Lodge. I was also a driver for meals on wheels for 3 years. I have just completed my ServSafe Certification course. I took a CPR training course but am not certified. Would be willing to do that through the Red Cross. Love caring for children with special needs and caring for those who may just need some daily help so they can stay at home. Can run errands, pick up groceries, fix little things around the house, etc.
