I love being a caregiver because I naturally enjoy helping people feel supported and seen—whether it’s kids, new moms, or anyone who just needs an extra hand. It means a lot to be someone others can rely on, especially during vulnerable moments. I grew up watching how much a good caregiver can make a difference, so I take pride in being that person for someone else. I want to create safe, encouraging spaces where people feel comfortable being themselves.
I volunteered at Cone Health Hospital, delivering supplies and supporting new moms and their babies. Whether it’s in a home, school, or medical setting, I’ve learned how to care for people with patience, responsibility, and empathy. I’m great at communication, organization, and keeping a calm, positive energy—even in busy or emotional situations. I can help with tutoring, light cleaning, meal prep, and I always look for ways to make others feel comfortable. I’m currently working toward my RBT certification to better support children with autism, and I’m always open to learning new skills to grow as a caregiver.
