Christine’s Bio
I believe that if we are listening, the universe gently points us to the life we are supposed to live—a life filled with joy and purpose. I have enjoyed two significant roles in my professional life: caregiver and executive assistant.
I have always loved being an executive assistant, but I was displaced from my last position due to downsizing. I never considered retiring and started contemplating my next career move.
My journey as a caregiver began with my mother. She had multiple health issues including debilitating arthritis and then was diagnosed with cancer. My goal was to keep her at home and as independent as possible without placing her in a managed care facility. Although it was challenging at times, I would not have traded that time for anything.
This personal experience deeply influenced my approach to caregiving, making me empathetic and dedicated to my clients' well-being. Over the years, I have been pulled into various caregiving roles. And I have been able to combine my strengths and skills from both roles to provide an enhanced form of caregiving.
My passion is to help clients remain independent by assisting with household management and caregiving. This includes arranging medical appointments, helping with paperwork, and performing light household tasks. I focus on keeping dementia clients active and involved, while also supporting their spouses in maintaining their households. Some of my services include:
* Arranging medical appointments and providing transportation.
* Assisting with paperwork, including filling out forms.
* Performing light household tasks such as laundry and meal preparation.
* Creating and maintaining monthly expense trackers.
* Running errands, including trips to the supermarket.
* Finding and coordinating household contractors.
Everyone deserves to be home, remain as independent as possible, and have a good quality of life. Please feel free to reach out to discuss how I can assist with your needs.
