I have been a CNA for over 30 years. I started right out of high school in a nursing home/hospital. My skill set includes working with the elderly in nursing homes and in-home care as a CNA and caregiver. I have worked with cancer, rehab, post-surgery, Parkinson's, Dementia and Alzheimer's, Hospice, and End of Life care. I have extensive training in Alzheimer's and Dementia including working in Special Care Units and assisting with the transition from home to a facility. I have also worked for Caregiving companies as the Admin Asst/HR/Education/Intake and Scheduler and as the Supervisor. I am a certified Christian Life Coach and Hope Coach, which has helped tremendously to assist families dealing with Alzheimer's and Dementia helping them navigate their way through the process. I have always enjoyed caring for others in their time of need. Although I have worked in so many aspects of the field, I enjoy caregiving the most. It is satisfying and gratifying to be able to support those in these delicate situations. I am respectful of others' needs, privacy, and life in general and strive to treat them the way I would treat my own family.
