Mary’s Bio
I am skilled in caring for seniors of varying stages and disabilities. I was born in Canada and traveled extensively for my parents work ending up in TN at 12 yrs old. I traveled to the Cayman Islands where I had my first nanny position and had lived in 3 different countries by the age of 21. I moved back to TN where I became a CNA in my twenties and worked at a nursing home called Mariner Health located in Newport , TN. I worked at Greene Valley Dev. Center in Greeneville, TN for 2 yrs caring for handicapped/mentally disabled children/adults. I was my brother's primary caregiver in my late 20's when he broke his back in a near fatal car crash and had to learn to walk again, catheterize and use a bowel program. I have privately cared for many seniors and children including my own father-in-law full time for 5yrs currently in the late stages of Alzheimer's, wheelchair bound, blind and needs constant supervision. Caring for people is ingrained in me after a lifetime of it being my norm.
