Georgia’s Bio
I am a 40 year old mother of four (ages 19, 18, 13 and 3), happily married for 20 years and a student of Psychology.
Two of my children have graduated from high school and the two younger daughters are homeschooled.
I have spent years providing hospice care as a volunteer and have a passion for caring for others. I am seeking a position that will allow me to have supplemental income while bringing the two girls with me and that will allow me to pursue my passion of loving and caring for others.
I never knew how much I would fall in love with caring for the elderly until I had become a hospice volunteer. I am not sure who benefited more, them or me. What a joy it is to give them love, support families and learn from my patients.
From singing together, to reading the Bible or books, whether they are verbal or not, I have enjoyed every moment and it was the experience as a hospice volunteer that made that determining factor to move away from my family's business and pursue my education in psychology.
I have a ways to go yet with my educational goals, but would prefer to find a position that will give me the opportunity to support others.
As of right now, I am looking provide assistance on Sundays. I can offer some early morning care, but Sundays are my only full days available.
