I am currently working as a nurse with over 10 years total experience with the Geriatric/Elderly Population. I've worked as a CNA (7 years) and MedTech ( 3 years) on my journey to Nursing (currently 2 years). Although currently working in the field of Pediatric Neurology, I miss the one on one/ intimate care that comes with working with the geriatric population. I'm seeking to fill this void by finding something part time in the evenings through which I can make use of the quality of care and basic skills I've obtained in interacting with the elderly and (mild to advanced) dementia population. I see enough facilities and Dr's Offices within my day to interactions, and would like to spend my evenings being able to impact the life of someone individually. As a nurse, I am CPR/ BLS certified.
