I am a newly retired Military wife and mother to 4 great kids. All but 1 has flown the nest. I have always worked in a career field that helps others and I have a passion for that. I worked as a preschool teacher and Nanny for quite a few years being based all over the world with my husband. I have many training certificates on office related work and of course working with preschool children I was certified through the US Airforce and attended many mandatory training classes. I looked after my elderly grandmother for many years which included taking her shopping, an occasional trip out for a lunch or coffee, doing her housework, some cooking, making sure she was comfortable, she was still able to live alone, and occasional assistance with bathing etc. I also made sure all her bills were paid although she was very smart and liked to be as self sufficient as she could be without me making her feel useless. Her dementia did get worse so I have some experience in dealing with memory loss also.
