Antonia’s Bio
Hello. I'm a mature but strong woman with a Liberal Arts BA, a mother to 2 adult sons with many life and caregiving experiences under my belt. While I do not yet hold any certifications, I do have caregiver experience. I consider myself to be a kind, dedicated, responsible and reliable person. The caregiver support I have given was for close family members, one with end stage cancer and one with Alzheimer's. They were both in the home and, while we utilized hospice (a godsend) in assisting with their medical needs, most care was provided by myself and my brother.
I considered it an honor to spend time with the my loved ones in their illness and time of aging. This care included arranging for medical appointments, assisting with giving medications, feeding (and cooking), household chores, bathing and dressing, hand-holding and comforting, and last but not least, just Being there as a caring companion.
