I have worked in healthcare as COTA/A (certified occupational therapy assistant)for 30 yrs in many settings (hospital sub acute rehab, homecare, and pediatrics). I was always drawn back to geriatrics . As teen always loved babysitting and helping others. Had 3 boys (1 and set of twins) and as they supported me, my sister and I cared for mom and dad in their home allowing them to age in place. I am now focusing on aiding caregivers and seniors to age in place, provided companionship, assist with errands, help transition home from hospital or rehab by setting up adaptive equipment, picking up prescriptions, groceries, providing medication management, safety checks, meal prep. I value the knowledge that our seniors give from their life experiences and feel they deserve our respect, kindness and to be in their own homes. I am currently working full time in my field and wanted to start out with availability of weekends and evenings.
