I have never been a caregiver but before my aunt died i was taking care of her while she had cancer etc but I enjoy helping people and making their day a little easier. It feels good to know that my support can make someone feel comfortable, safe, and cared for. Being a caregiver also allows me to build meaningful connections with others while showing kindness, patience, and compassion. It’s rewarding to see someone smile or feel better because of something I did to help them.
