Hello My name is Lorena, I have been a caregiver starting at a very young age helping elderly people. I use to visit a nursing home not far from my home. Something drew me to go and walk the elders around talk with with13 them read and just listen to there stories. I later worked in adult residential care providing professional help to adults and children with developmental, substance abuse, mental health and handicap problems. My experienced since 2001. I've also cared for family member dear to my heart with dementia and other mental health issues. I have a huge heart to love and care for those who are unable to care for themselves. My moto is I have to get old someday and I want to have someone like myself to care for me. With empathy not sympathy. Im determined educated and knowledgeable of what I do. Im dependable hard worker and self-starter. I've held cpr first aid, medication administration, blood borne pathegons, driver safety. I hold class b cdl.
