Kelsey’s Bio

I have helped take care of a number of wonderful people over the last few years. My experience has been as a companion and health advocate. This includes taking notes and asking questions at doctors visits on their behalf. I also provided companionship; doing things like puzzles, taking walks, shopping, movies, out to eat, etc. They are so appreciative of the little things in life and it is always a joy to help them do/achieve whatever it is they want to accomplish. I have traveled and been in Real Estate for many years in my "working" days, and always felt that it was rewarding until I semiretired and became a companion and advocate. This is the kind of work that doesn't feel like work at all. Our seniors have lived through some of the worst and best of times. We need to let them be heard and help them through whatever it is they're asking for help with. Even of it's just taking notes at the doctors for them or out for dinner! They deserve the best we can provide! Available M-F.

Kelsey sat for us while we were in town for a wedding. She watched my son and his two cousins, so a variety of ages (3, 7 and 10). She had them for about 8 hours, and the kids all had a wonderful time. She has swimming teaching/supervision experience, and was willing to get in the hotel pool with the kids, which was important to us, since our son can't swim alone yet. There's not a lot to do in a hotel room, and three boys can get stir crazy quick! But she was able to keep them engaged and entertained the whole time. Our son has almost never been left with someone he doesn't know, so we were a little nervous about how he would do. We didn't have to worry--he had a great time, and seemed to really like her (he was talking a lot about her and all the things they did the next day!). Kelsey sent us text messages and pictures throughout the evening so we knew everything was going well. It was very reassuring to know he was enjoying himself; it allowed us to have a wonderful time with friends and family without worrying at all.
