Hello! My name is Bailey, I am 25 years old and I spent the majority of last year assisting an elderly lady 4 nights a week after my 9-5 job and loved every minute of it. My duties were to help her to and from the bathroom, get her undressed and then re-dressed and ready for bed, light cleaning, meal preparation, and keeping track of medicines at night as well as basic companionship. I grew very fond of Miss Shirley and she became my second grandmother. I think it's such a special thing to be able to give back to those who have given us so much and would give anything to go back and help my grandmother do these simple tasks again. I have had basic first aid training due to my safety related daytime job and past daycare experience.
