Hi, my name is Mara! I'm a college student studying Psychology and I desire to pursue social work. I have a passion for tending to the needs of others and some of my skills include that I'm empathetic, compassionate, and a good listener. I don't have any paid nor any professional experience in companion care by any means, but have a heart for working alongside people of all ages. I spend quite a lot of time with my grandmother, who's taught me a thing or two. I'm willing to be a helping hand and assist in any way I can whether that be housekeeping/organizing by keeping spaces tidy and clean, caring for pets, providing support and a listening ear, engaging in conversation, doing activities, preparing meals, etc. In order to fund my education and living expenses, I also work as a server for a part-time job. At the restaurant, I've learned to grow in the areas of patience, hospitality, interpersonal communication, and the opportunity to serve others well. I'd be happy to meet & work with anyone who's in need of a caring companion!
