Hello all. My name is Bella. I’ve spent the last 4 years caring for seniors, including those with physical disabilities, neurological disabilities, mental health challenges, and much more. I hold a Person-Centered Care certification from the Alzheimer’s Association, which has given me valuable insight into compassionate dementia care. I've done Alzheimer's trainings, Trauma-informed care trainings, and much more.

My experience includes medication reminders, personal care like dressing/bathing, mobility assistance, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transportation to appointments, companionship, and crisis management. Closely monitoring clients' moods, behavior, and physical health is something I am skilled in, along with communicating any issues, changes, etc to families, case workers, nurses, etc. Keeping open communication with the client's support systems is of great importance to me.

Building trust is another important part of this job, and I do this through kindness, patience, and open communication, always adapting my approach to support each client, based on their needs. Treating them with dignity and respect and helping them be as independent as they can be, supporting them every step of the way. I’m especially experienced with overnight shifts and provide reliable, attentive care throughout the night.

I’m currently studying psychology online, which deepens my understanding of mental health and behavior. Plus, my background as a patient safety attendant in a hospital setting has strengthened my skills in crisis prevention, client safety, and emergency response.
