I have an extensive background in medical and psychiatric care. I am a retired federal health care worker. I have a proven Home health Care companion with Alzheimer's patients over the past 5 years. I have a number of current certifications in med aid training, certified Alzheimer's Home Care. Certified hospice training. Pass certified mental health counselor and substance abuse counseling. Medical school Brooks medical Center San Antonio Texas, trained as an army medic. Bedford VA medical Center Massachusetts, retired after 27 years mental health counselor, outreach counselor, vocational counselor, substance abuse counselor and other counseling positions in the mental health field.I've received numerous performances awardswhile having been employed by the federal government. I have an excellent driving record no accidents. I have passed three criminal background checks from the New Hampshire state Police. I'm employed presently by three different home health care agencies one of which is named Seniors Helping Seniors that I have worked for for the past five years. I have excellent documentation and communication skills. I've graduated from northern Essex community college in psychology. I am computer literate and understand Microsoft word and other office applications. Have spent most of my life helping others, has a medic in the army I help save lives, has a counselor with the veterans administration I helped others to improve their lives, now has a home health care companion I help seniors to enjoy a higher quality of life, I receive a great deal of self-satisfaction from helping others.
