I have been caring for my elderly disabled mother for the last 3 years on and off before that i was caring for my grandmother who had dimentia and alzheimers. In caring for my 101 year old I did light housekeeping cooked took her to dr. appointments bathed her and changed her adult diapers . I did her Laundry as well . Just keeping her company was the highlight of her day cause she had someone there to talk to so the 4 walls were not closing in on her. Now with my mom I take her to dr. appointments wash her clothes do her dishes for her take her grocery shopping.
