I am currently waiting for my nursing license to be approved by the state for my Home Health Aide certification. So in the meantime, I am looking to out my love of helping to use. I have experienced taking care of my own family members. My first was my great grandmother, she was 87 years old. I then cared for my grandmother, who had early onset dementia, and was 62. Both of them have since passed. I would help with activities of daily living such as dressing, grooming, eating, socializing, meal preparation, and light cleaning. I understand the patience and compassion that is needed for loved ones with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. I also understand the need for independence and dignity for others. I am also CPR certified.
