Dear Family,
I have experience as an adult caregiver in private home and in senior facility as well. The seniors under my care were not independent. They needed assistance 24h a day.
I helped the seniors on their physical therapy instructed by the physicians. Also stimulated senior’s intellectuality by reading, going to the movies, libraries.
In the facilities I provided encouragement and instructions on specific tasks that individuals struggle with due to their disabilities, maintained records of patients care, progress, or problems, reported and discussed any patients’ physical or mental change with supervisor or case manager, improved mental health conditions and alertness through entertaining, talking and reading to patients, provided patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, and with dressing.
