I love people. I am the one that people approach in the grocery store or at any event for guidance or direction. I have a knack for helping people feel at ease and open up.
I have been employed as a Recreation Assistant working with the elderly residents who are diagnosed with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Although this position can be strenuous and emotional at times, the love and joy I received from the residents is priceless.
I am currently employed as a Resident Manager at Ronald McDonald House in Long Branch. This has given me the opportunity to support, encourage and comfort the families with children who are dealing with different levels of illnesses and come to our hospitals in New Jersey from all over the world. I cover the house in the early morning and evenings which gives me the opportunity to use my skills elsewhere during the day.
