I cared for my mom during the last 5 years of her life (she lived to 96 years old). She had severe dementia. I am loving, fun and upbeat.
I also, along with my husband, cared for my mother-in-law Lucy until her passing at the old age of 100! She lived independently in her own home until age 98, at which time a stroke left her paralyzed and required hospital rehabilitation care.
