Sheila’s Bio

I worked as a baby sitter and nanny throughout middle and high school, lead and organized the nursery at my local community center, and taught k-5th grades for the YMCA while completing my MD at UC San Francisco. I am certified in pediatric advanced life support, advanced cardiac and trauma life support, basic life support and CPR. I have worked in a hospital setting for the last 7 years and as a surgical resident for the last 3 years. I have experience and training working with newborns to geriatrics. Currently. I am a fully licensed physician but I have taken a hiatus from the clinical setting to focus on research and quality improvement at the hospital i work in. I am a 36years old woman who's greatest joys come from engaging with people (young and old alike), and teaching. Due to the rigorous nature of my studies and career I have not made a family of my own nor are my nieces and nephews close by. I would truly enjoy the opportunity to look over your loved one while you tend to your commitments, work late or are simply taking a moment for yourself.
